Kampa, however, have an advantage over many of their competitors – innovation. Now with a comprehensive range of both traditional poled and inflatable motorhome awnings suitable for almost any vehicle type, the new 2016 range adds features not found on other manufacturer’s products – this exceptional level of care and detail are certain to cement Kampa as a class leader in this marketplace. 2016 Kampa Travel Pod Free Standing Drive-Away Awnings (poled) The Kampa Travel Pod range of driveaway free standing campervan awnings available at www.a2zcamping.co.uk come in three different accommodation sizes: The Kampa Travel Pod Mini offers a very usable 3m x 2.75m living area; The larger Kampa Travel Pod Midi offers 3m x 3.15m of living space and both have an internal head height of a little over 2m. The largest model in the range, the Kampa Travel Pod Maxi has a 3m x 5.1m living space with an internal height of 2.2m. All three Travel Pod awnings are manufactured using Kampa’s Weathershield 150D ‘Feel the difference’ material, which offer an exceptional 4000mm hydrostatic head and is both flame retardant and UV stabilised. All major seams have been hot air taped for maximum weather resistance. Designed to fit vehicle heights up to 190cm – the Kampa Travel Pod awnings are a perfect fit for most Volkswagen Campervans like the T4 and T5, but are equally suited to Renault Traffic Van Conversions, Vauxhall Vivario and Ford Transit based campervans. The Kampa Travel Pod Mini and Kampa Travel Pod Midi both come with a two berth bedroom inner tent which can be hung or removed in a few seconds, helping to maximise your living accommodation without sacrificing the benefits of additional sleeping capacity. All Kampa Motor Rally Air Pro awnings are fitted with both 6mm (standard) and 4mm (Fiamma) awning beading allowing them to be attached directly to either your factory fitted awning rail or to a roll out canopy. Importantly Kampa have also introduced a clever adjustable rear cushion pad system which allows users to effectively ‘bridge the gap’ between the side of your motorhome and the protruding roll out canopy make for a superb seal against your vehicle.
